Christian McKay

Christian Mckay received international acclaim for his film debut in the title role of Richard Linklater's Me and Orson Welles. The great American film critic, Roger Ebert, declared: "...the extraordinary presence of Christian McKay is the centrepiece of the film, and from it, all else flows." Christian received several awards from American Critics' Circles, as well as a further two dozen nominations, including the BAFTA.

Christian has subsequently appeared in several award-winning films including Ron Howard's Rush; Woody Allen's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger; Stephen Frears's Florence Foster Jenkins with Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant; Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and The Theory of Everything.

Christian's work in television includes the BAFTA winning Road to Coronation Street, Poirot: Appointment with Death, Jekyll and Hyde, Churchill's Secret and Frontier. Future releases include Paolo Virzì's The Leisure Seeker with Dame Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland.

Christian McKay plays Roger Leonides in Agatha Christie's Crooked House. Roger is the eldest and most favored son of Aristide Leonides, and is currently running the family business.
