you know i find it amazing how Agatha christie could have thought of thee idea of an old woman solving big hard mysteries, and the name MARPLE!

you might find Anne Hart's book The Life and Times of Miss Jane Marple an interesting supplement to your reading of Christie's Marple books

Miss Marple is indeed a fantastic character. She is quite peculiar. Too curious. She never gets horrified. She's always so clever and she knows sho much about human nature. She's amazing! She solves hard mysteries secretely. She is such a great creation and just a wonderful lady like Agatha Christie could've created her.
