The Witness for the Prosecution to air on Boxing Day

Agatha Christie will be back on TV in the UK over the festive period with brand new two-part adaptation, The Witness for the Prosecution. Based on Christie’s short story of the same title, the new adaptation is written by Sarah Phelps, the writer behind the 2015 adaptation of And Then There Were None, and stars Toby Jones, Kim Cattrall, Andrea Riseborough, Billy Howle and Monica Dolan. The first episode will air on BBC One on Boxing Day at 9pm, followed by the second episode on Tuesday 27th December at 9pm. It will later air in one part in the US on Acorn TV on the 30th January.
