The Sittaford Mystery
In a remote house in the middle of Dartmoor, six shadowy figures huddle around a small round table for a seance. Tension rises as the spirits spell out a chilling message: 'Captain Trevelyan...dead...murder'. Is this black magic or simply a macabre joke? Christie was able to touch upon her interest in the supernatural in this novel. Will Cuppy in Books (New York Herald Tribune) wrote, “You can’t go wrong with this one, certainly the best of the always high-grade Christie items in quite some time.”
It was filmed in 2006 with the addition of Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple.
