A creepy tale from Agatha Christie, in which she indulges in her fascination with the supernatural, it was first published in Woman’s Journal in 1958. Although it appeared in Miss Marple’s Final Cases in the UK (1979) it is not a Marple story. It can also be found in Double Sin and Other Stories in the US (1961).
