Community Guidelines

Agatha Christie Limited’s online community is for anyone with an interest in the bestselling crime writer, Agatha Christie. We hope it is a fun, friendly place to share an appreciation of the Queen of crime, her stories and their adaptations. We value and actively encourage online conversation and debate about Agatha Christie’s stories, and we welcome users who wish to share their thoughts and knowledge about them. In return, we ask that users adhere to our community guidelines.

What type of contributions do we invite?

  • Personal views and thoughts
  • Comments intended to stimulate conversation or discussion
  • Constructive criticism/feedback about Agatha Christie’s stories, adaptations and licensed products
  • Contextualised links to relevant content on agathachristie.com and third-party sites

What type of contributions will be removed?

  • Spam
  • Promotional messages
  • Inappropriate comments about individuals, including Agatha Christie Limited’s staff and licensees
  • Hate-speech targeted at people and communities on the basis of race, gender, sexuality, disability and other identity traits
  • Persistent misrepresentation of Agatha Christie’s works
  • Unmarked spoilers about plot developments in a television programme, film or book. Please mark your comment with a spoiler alert

Agatha Christie Limited retains the right to distinguish between constructive criticism and offensive or harmful content. We reserve the right to remove any post which we consider to oppose these guidelines. If a community member repeatedly abuses these guidelines, we reserve the right to remove the contributor from our community, and prevent future interaction with it.
