Jenny Galloway

Two time Laurence Olivier Award winner Jenny Galloway is probably best known for her performance as Madame Thenardier in the global success that is Les Miserables (1992–1994, 1995, 2006–2008 and 2010). She performed the role at The Palace Theatre in London, The Broadhurst Theater on Broadway and was filmed playing the role at the 10th Anniversary Concert Performance at the Royal Albert Hall and again at the 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena, playing opposite Matt Lucas to an audience of 20,000 in 2010. This show won the Best Ensemble Performance and Theatre Event of the Year at the Whatsonstage.com Awards.

Galloway’s distinguished career in the theatre includes several years at the National Theatre working with directors such as Sir Peter Hall and Sir Alan Ayckbourn in the late 80’s/early 90 and more recently with Thea Sharrock in the Award Winning production of After The Dance with Benedict Cumberbatch.

In Agatha Christie's Crooked House Jenny Galloway plays Janet Rowe - nanny to the two youngest Leonides.
