Luke Treadaway

In Ordeal by Innocence Luke Treadaway plays Arthur Calgary, a stranger who shakes up the equilibrium of the Argyll family. Clean-shaven and pale, he carries a nervous disposition. Dr Calgary enters Sunny Point in the summer of 1956 claiming to have returned from an Arctic expedition. He sets off a chain of events that threatens to blow the Argyll family apart.

Olivier Award winner Luke won the Best Actor Award for his leading role in The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-Time. Luke has also won acclaim for his film and television work with leading roles in the award-winning feature A Street Cat Named Bob, Sky Atlantic’s Fortitude and again most recently on stage in the West End revival of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.

His further credits include Academy Award nominated Unbroken, Evening Standard Film Award nominated Ethel and Ernest, BAFTA Film Award nominated Attack the Block and BAFTA television award winning series The Hollow Crown. He is currently filming The Truth from BAFTA winner David Nath, a new drama series for Channel 4.
