Kevin McNally

Kevin McNally is Japp. An ex-police officer forced into retirement, respected by many in the force and a dear friend of Hercule’s. He now spends most of his time at his allotment.

Kevin McNally is an internationally renowned star of stage and screen. Recent theatre credits include King Lear at The Globe, The Missing Hancocks at the Assembly Rooms, The Dance of Death for Donmar at Trafalgar Studios, Hay Fever at the Noel Coward Theatre and Hamlet, Ivanov for the Donmar at Wyndhams. Kevin’s film credits include all five Pirates of the Caribbean films as well as The Man Who Knew, Infinity, Legend, The Raven, Valkyrie, The Phantom of the Opera, De-Lovely, Johnny English, Entrapment, Sliding Doors, Spice World, Enigma, The Long Good Friday, Cry Freedom and The Spy Who Loved Me. On television, Kevin can be seen in Unforgotten, Turn: Washington’s Spies, Designated Survivor, Maigret, Hancock, Fleabag, Power Monkeys, Count Arthur Strong, 24: Live Another Day, Burn Notice, Downton Abbey, Supernatural, Poe, CSI, Life on Mars, Dunkirk, Spooks, Shackleton, Conspiracy, Dad, Underworld, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Minder, Bottom, Jekyll and Hyde, Dr Who, The Devil’s Crown, I Claudius and Poldark.
