Twelve Agatha Christie Radio Mysteries Released

Twelve-Radio-Mysteries-News-v2

Twelve of Agatha Christie's thrilling short stories have been adapted into full-cast radio dramatisations and are released on CD and as an audiobook this week. These short stories capture Agatha Christie's skilful plotting and talent for creating compelling mysteries. Originally written in prose form by Agatha Christie, the stories have been adapted into radio plays with references to mobile phones and the internet carefully sewn in. Although none of these stories feature Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, unconventional detective Parker Pyne appears in two of the tales. All twelve mysteries are infused with Agatha Christie's trademark tension and suspense.

The stories are Philomel Cottage, Swan Song, Magnolia Blossom, Witness for the Prosecution, The Gates of Baghdad, The Hound of Death, In a Glass Darkly, The Dressmaker's Doll, The Case of the Perfect Carer, The £199 Adventure, The Gypsy and The Last Seance. Among the star cast are Tom Hollander, Emilia Fox, Patricia Routledge, Julia McKenzie, Neil Dudgeon, Richard Griffiths, Rebecca Front and Andrew Sachs.
