Who is Albert? 

Albert, a flamboyant and fabulous performer, owns the eponymous Lady Albert pub, as well as the flat above it — Tommy’s residence and home of Blunt’s Brilliant Detectives. A butler in the original novels, Albert assists Tommy and Tuppence with their cases and pours many a pint as they discuss their theories, serving as land-lady, drag queen, confidante, pub quiz host, and therapist. Known for distinctive, colourful eyeliner, Albert is the unofficial third member of the crime-solving agency.

About Charlie Condou 

Charlie Condou most recently appeared in the second season of Doctor Who (BBC) guest starring alongside Ncuti Gatwa. Charlie has an extensive CV in television from Coronation Street (ITV) and other starring roles such as Midsomer Murders (ITV), Holby City (BBC), Unforgotten (ITV), You, Me and the Apocalypse (Sky), Casualty (BBC) and Nathan Barley (Channel 4).
He’s done voiceover work in Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance alongside Taron Egerton and Anya Taylor-Joy and has film credits including Good opposite Viggo Mortensen and Fred Clause with Vince Vaughan. His stage acting led to him leading F***ing Men at Waterloo East Theatre, adding to a number of Southwark Playhouse productions he’s led in the past, including Straight White Men, Next Fall and The Changeling. Further theatre credits include The Throne at Charing Cross Theatre and Dying For It at the Almeida Theatre.
