Classic Christie

Agatha Christie’s mysteries have been adapted for the screen since 1928 - just eight years after her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, was published in 1920. Almost ten years later came the first TV adaptation, based on Agatha Christie’s stage play Spider’s Web. Since then her thrilling stories have been entertaining audiences on the big and small screen around the world, perhaps most memorably for the popular television series starring David Suchet, Agatha Christie’s Poirot and the classic Marple hit films with Joan Hickson, released between 1974-1982.
